One of the first most important stuff that we come across while reading the “7 habits of highly effective people” by Stephen Covey is the LAW OF THE HARVEST.
Covey said: “Did you ever consider how ridiculous it would be to cram on a farm-to forget the plant in the spring, play all summer and then cram in the fall to bring in the harvest?”
Now this is incredibly true. If we forget the plant and played all summer, we will harvest NOTHING but regrets…NO MATTER how hard we cram in the fall to bring in the harvest!! And this applies in all areas of our lives. If you want to harvest great academic results, we have to put in the effort way before the examinations. If you want to get ripped, you have to workout every single day so that when beach time comes, you can harvest those six pack abs but how stupid would it be for someone to sleep all year round and then one day before going to beach, he tries to cram a workout for 24 hours so as to harvest a ripped body??
Hence come the saying: You always reap what you sow! If you wanna reap good stuff, you have to not only sow good stuff but take care of your stuff during the whole process!
